The world’s largest and most exciting outdoor basketball tournament returns next month, when the QUAI 54 World Streetball Championship takes place in Paris from June 13-14th, 2015.

Hosted by Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball, this celebration of the game is famed for explosive play, a spectacular setting, and a lineup of the very best hoops talent.

Founded in 2003, the Quai 54 event has been an annual fixture in France’s capital, capturing the city’s love of the game and providing the arena for the best streetball players on the planet. Growing each year to attract a visiting audience of over 15,000 attendees, the caliber of special guests and sheer spectacle has matched the quality of basketball being showcased.

This year’s Quai 54 is gearing up to be the best yet. Staged in the iconic Place de la Concorde public square, 16 teams from over ten countries will be vying to take the coveted World Streetball Championship, with veterans and newcomers from the USA, UK, Guinea, Spain, Latvia, Croatia, Netherlands, Belgium, China and France in attendance and ready to conquer. The USA will be represented by the ‘Chi-League All-Stars’ from Chicago, Illinois, winners of numerous summer basketball tournaments in the U.S., including Nike’s famed “Tournament of Champions”. All of them will need to bring their A-Game to defeat ‘Hood Mix 2.0’, France’s defending champions. Due to huge demand for places at the World Streetball Championship, teams will have to earn their place at a Qualifiers’ Round. Quai 54 Dunk Contest – Presented by House of Hoops by Foot Locker

One of the most hotly anticipated events of the weekend is the Dunk Contest Presented by House of Hoops by Footlocker. Staged by Dunk Elite & Kadour Ziani a.k.a. ‘the Dunk Father’, The Quai 54 Dunk Contest will bring five of the best dunkers worldwide to the table: Polish Rafal ‘Lipek’ Lipinski winner of 2014 Quai 54 Dunk contest as well

as the 2012 Nike World Basketball Festival, Barcelona. 2011 & 2012 Quai 54 Dunk Contest winner, Canadian Justin ‘Jus Fly’ Darlington will also be back in town to try and win back his crown. Three new comers will experience Paris’ legendary crowds this year: Ukrainian Dmitry ‘Smoove’ Krivenko, Canadian Jordan ‘Mission Impossible’ Kilganon and Frenchman Loïc ‘Loco’ Moitry
