Rift Re-Imagined: The NikeLab Free Rift Sandal

Since 1996, the legendary Nike Air Rift  is a great bet for Nike: providing athletes everything they might need through a performance shoe stripped down of any excess. A functional minimalism which is now a winning hallmark for the most famous shoe/sandal of all time.

However, NikeLab recently decided to go much further: starting from the iconic silhouette of the Air Rift it was created the NikeLab Free Rift Sandal, namely, an even more minimalism Nike Air Rift. In lieu of the Air Rift’s textile upper and rubber outsole, the new design features protective TPU cages and plush Phylon midsoles.

The NikeLab Free Rift totally embraces the open-shoe experience: a sandal/sneaker hybrid inevitable the Tabi's aesthetics addicted.
