Kobe Bryant spent his childhood in Italy and - with the years - has also developed a strong feeling towards China. His deep-rooted passion for Europe and Asia has been the starting point for the creation of the new Kobe X Silk: a sneaker that symbolically unites these two continents.
An emotional connection, that of Bryant, which is configured in the historic Silk Road, the routes linking the Chinese empire to the Roman one. The Kobe X Silk also have a very metaphorical color: orange with geometric inserts in burgundy, exactly like the color of silk fabrics of the time.
The Kobe X Silk will be available on nike.com and at selected retailers from March 21.
