Universal Studios Officially Licenses Nike Air Mag Replicas

Here comes the future. Or maybe backs.

Nearly 30 years after the release of the first episode of "Back to the Future", was 1985, Universal Studios, the production company behind the movie, authorizes the re-release of the legendary pair of shoes like Air Mag worn by Marty McFly.

Available at HalloweenCostumes.com, for $ 98.99, the shoes, high-top model with adjustable velcro strap, have a form glowing in the sole, which is powered via the USB port, but not the famous automatic power-lace technology.

Although officially authorized by Universal Studios, this is not a Nike product. In 2011, the American company had already produced a limited re-release of the Air Mag, also without "power laces", 1,500 copies sold at auction on Ebay and the proceeds of which were donated to charity the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Waiting to travel through time riding a DeLorean, Nike tries again and, to the delight of all fans of the film by Robert Zemeckis, realizes a new the Air Mag, all identical to the model of McFly and finally equipped with automatic power-lace, which will hit stores in the fall of 2015.
