Out of the blue
November 8th, 2013
In 2012 Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry, French artists, founded Etudes, multidisciplinary brand that give vent to their creativity. The couple takes care of books, design, but also of menswear. With offices in Paris and New York, the label considers each collection a new start, a clean slate on which to build a style. Reached its third labor, Etudes mixes sportswear and tailoring, urban influences and traditions, techniques and materials, making men's clothing, but also unisex.
"Out of the blue" this is the name of the line, is contemporary, elegant, discreetly decorated with digital prints made from drawings by American artist Pia Howell. The shades of blue reign supreme on the palette, enhancing the fine fabrics: mohair, waxed cotton, suede and lamb wool. Cuts and silhouettes follow the body, its movements.
Etudes is tailoring urban , metropolitan elegance .
