Six Lee FW 2013 Collection

Six Lee è uno stilista di Hong Kong, diplomato in Belle Arti, che si è fatto le ossa lavorando per Alexander McQueen. Da questo artista della moda, Lee eredita una certa dose di eccentricità che aggiunge al suo amore per le forme classiche e sartoriali. Nasce così, un stile che affonda le radici nella tradizione, pur risultando sempre moderno, a tratti futuristico.

Con la collezione per il prossimo inverno Lee costruisce un ponte tra passato e futuro, in cui un mix ‘n match di linee e tagli provenienti da entrambe le epoche contribuiscono a creare uno stile unico e ricercato, con silhouettes allungate che ha nelle spalle il suo focus. I pantaloni sono a gamba larga, le giacche avvitate, hanno sagome aderenti e ben calibrate contribuendo a creare un look elegante, manierato, raffinato. Il blu è il colore base che, con tutte le sue sfumature, rappresenta differenti punti sullo spettro della luce su cui vengono distese le stampe, tutte che giocano con il tema geometrico dei quadri. Six Lee veste un viaggiatore nel tempo, un dandy dallo stile impeccabile.

Six Lee is a Hong Kong fashion designer, graduated in Fine Arts, who cut his teeth working for Alexander McQueen. From this  fashion artist Lee inherits a certain amount of eccentricity, which adds to his love for classic shapes and tailoring. The result is a style that has its roots in tradition, but modern, sometimes futuristic.

With the collection for next winter, Lee builds a bridge between the past and future, with a mix 'n match of lines and cuts from both eras helps to create a unique and refined style, with elongated silhouettes, where shoulders are the focus. The pants are wide leg, jackets screwed, have adherent  and well-balanced sape, all contribute to create an elegant look, mannered, refined. Blue is the color base, with all its nuances, representing different points on the spectrum of light and on which they are drawn prints, all playing with the geometric theme of the paintings. Six Lee wears a time traveler, a dandy with impeccable style.
