In Your Shoes - Gaia Venuti

Abbiamo deciso di metterci nelle “tue scarpe” per un giorno, vi mostreremo lavoro, sogni e passioni di persone che ce l’hanno fatta, Professionisti nel  settore dell’ Arte a 360°, dalla moda alla musica, dal food design all’architettura, si racconteranno a noi attraverso un'intervista.

Oggi abbiamo il piacere di presentarvi colei che ha realizzato i sogni di tutte le donne Milanesi: Gaia Venuti, Fiorentina con la passione del collezionismo di moda, oggi si racconta a noi. Siamo andati a trovarla presso Bahama Mama, il  suo Beauty concept store tutto al femminile diventato in pochissimo tempo uno dei luoghi più Trendy di Milano.

Bahama Mama è un ambiente moderno ma al contempo sofisticato e dal tocco retrò, un nails bar  con i trattamenti più cool e rigorosamente naturali, ma non solo, un angolo dedicato al gusto con prodotti tipici toscani, un’area dedicata al relax dove ascoltare musica, sfogliare riviste, leggere email, guardare un film, ordinare tisane e smoothies di frutta freschissima, o fare anche un aperitivo  tutto questo facendo shopping immersi in una selezione di abiti vintage e nuove produzioni, delle più grandi maison internazionali e di indiscutibile valore. Più che un concept è un vero stile di vita. 

Con il tuo store hai creato un angolo di paradiso per ogni donna,  svelaci come?

Ho semplicemente chiuso gli occhi e immaginato un posto che io stessa avrei voluto trovare a Milano; quel posto dove entrandoci lasci fuori i problemi e lo stress e ti abbandoni ad un dolce relax all’insegna del bello, dove se hai fame mangi, se hai sete bevi, leggi, navighi su internet o guardi il tuo film preferito.. e se ancora non ti basta scegli tra la selezione capi e accessori quello che ti piace per la serata dove andrai una volta uscita. Ecco perché io lo chiamo il ‘’paese dei balocchi’’..

Raccontaci della tua passione per il vintage e se c’è un periodo storico a cui sei maggiormente legata...

Ho cominciato a collezionare e catalogare tutto quello che acquistavo tra mercatini e negozi in giro per il mondo all’età di 13 anni.. e da lì tutto è rimasto con me.. aumentato con il tempo fino a diventare una vera e propria passione e poi un lavoro.. Il mio amore più vero è per gli anni ’50 e ’80, si lo so, può sembrare strano perché sono due epoche completamente contrapposte, ma del resto io sono così..mi piace di tutto un po’! 

Quali trattamenti Beauty ci consigli per essere al top e alla moda?

Prima di tutto mani e piedi sempre in perfetto ordine, una donna con le unghie smaltate e curate può permettersi di andare in giro in tuta e "Ugg"... il contrario è inammissibile... e poi la pelle è un altro biglietto da visita importantissimo. Deve essere curata, nutrita ed idratata costantemente con i prodotti adatti e da mani esperte, noi utilizziamo moltissimo l’olio d’oliva e il resveratrolo... Del resto gli anni passano per tutte, ma con le giuste e costanti attenzioni, sarà sempre bello guardarci allo specchio...

Un’altra delle tue più grandi passioni è la danza e anche questa volta sei riuscita a trasformare un amore  in realtà ed è così che nasce il Black Mama Studio, (noi ci siamo stati per voi) ma non voglio svelarvi  altro... Gaia raccontaci tutto...

Da quando sono piccola amo ballare e cantare davanti allo specchio, mi rilassa, fa uscire la parte più vera di me e soprattutto mi aiuta a buttare fuori tutto quello che non serve. Dopo aver cercato senza risultati un posto che oltre ad essere bello ai miei occhi, mi permettesse di ballare senza per forza voler diventare una ballerina, ho pensato: ‘ma se non c’è lo faccio io’... e così è nato tutto... Black Mama Studio è energia, voglia di divertimento ed espressione di stile e femminilità. Si può imparare a stare sui tacchi, a ballarci, ad essere sexy con la videodance, o snodate con l’hiphop e l’house, oppure vintage con il tip tap, il charleston ed il lindy hop. A questo direi che siete pronte a ballare... il resto viene da sé.

Today We have the pleasure to introduce you the girl who has fulfilled the dreams of all Milan's women : Gaia Venuti, is Florentine with a passion for fashion collecting , today she talk with us. We went to visit at her Bahama Mama,is a Beauty concept store absolute feminine, that  in a very short time become one of the most Trendy in Milan.

Bahama Mama is a modern yet sophisticated retro flair, a nail bar with coolest and strictly natural treatments , but is not all , a corner dedicated to taste with typical Tuscan products, an area dedicated to relaxing to listen to music, browse through magazines, check email, watch a movie, order herbal teas and fresh fruit smoothies, or even make a drink all this by also doing shopping immersed in a selection of vintage clothing and not of the largest international fashion house and unquestionable value. More than a concept a true lifestyle.

1) With your store you created a paradise for each woman, show us how do you did it?

I just closed my eyes and imagined a place that I would liked to find in Milan, that place where entering it and leaves out the problems and stress , where abandon you with a sweet relax ,in name of beautiful, where if you're hungry you can eat, if you thirst, drink, read, browsing on internet or watch your favorite movie .. and if that's not enough for you choose between selecting clothes and accessories that you like for the evening where you go when you go out. That's why I call it the'' Toyland'' 

2) Tell us about your passion for vintage and if there is a historical period thet you prefer

I started collecting and cataloging everything I gained in markets and shops around the world, since when i was 13 .. and from there everything is still with me .. increased with time to become a real passion and then a job .. My love is true for the 50s and 80s, you know, it may seem strange because they are two completely opposing eras, but then I'm like that .. I like a bit of everything '!

3) What beauty treatments suggest us to be always on  the Top and Trendy?

First of all hands and feet always in perfect order, a woman with nail polish and cured can afford to go around in gym suit and 'Ugg' .. the opposite is unacceptable .. and then the skin is another important business card. Must be cared for, nourished and hydrated constantly with suitable products and by expert hands we use a lot olive oil and resveratrol .. After all the years go by and for all, but with the right and constant attention, it's always nice to look in the mirror ..

4) Another one of your greatest passion is dance, and once again you managed to transforming a love actually, and in this way was born the Black Mama Studio, (we stayed there for you) but I will not reveal more else .. Gaia tell us everything ..

Since I was a child, I love to dance and sing in front of the mirror, it relaxes me, brings out the truest part of me and especially helps me to throw off everything that is not needed. After looking for, with no results, a place in addition to being beautiful to my eyes and allow me to dance without necessarily to become a dancer, I thought, 'why I cant try to do it by myself ? .. and so was born all .. Black Mama Studio is energy, desire for fun and expression of style and femininity. You can learn to stand on his heels, to dance to, to be sexy with Videodance, or articulated with the hip-hop and house, or vintage with tap dancing, the Charleston and the Lindy Hop. To this I would say that you are ready to dance .. the rest comes by itself.
