On the occasion of the release of Queer, the film adaptation of William S. Burroughs’ novel, JW Anderson announces an exclusive capsule collection. The film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, stars Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey, with costumes designed by Jonathan Anderson. The collection features graphics inspired by the film’s posters, central imagery, and themes of Queer in ready-to-wear and accessories. The word "Queer" appears on hoodies, with drawstrings adorned with beads reflecting elements from the film. The quote “I want to talk to you... without talking” is printed on the back of the hoodies, available in gray and blue colors.
Four hoodies, available in gray, gold, bright pink, and steel blue, feature the film title and credits, echoing the design of the official Queer poster. Other hoodies in cornflower blue, light pink, burgundy, and vibrant green showcase evocative images from the film, such as frames of the protagonists played by Craig and Starkey, symbolic imagery of guns and landscapes, and flat-lay arrangements of key plot objects. The steel-blue T-shirt displays the film’s title, while the gray mélange T-shirt is printed to imitate the centipede necklace, a symbol of transformation in the film. Accessories incorporate the visual motifs of the clothing. An off-white tote bag features the flat-lay image from the film, while two caps in khaki and blue bear the title Queer, blending the distinctive images and central themes of the film.
