For the opening of its second store in the French capital, Issey Miyake chose Rue François 1er, located on the right bank in Paris's 8th arrondissement. In addition to its Pleats Please Issey Miyake store located on Boulevard Saint-Germain, the Japanese brand decided to cross the Seine for the recent opening of its new flagship store. In a minimalist yet filled space, with cool but nonetheless colorful tones, the boutique offers all the collections of the 50-year-old brand, from new releases to cult pieces crafted in the famous pleated fabric.

Comme des Garçons on Faubourg-Saint-Honoré

Continuing with Japanese fashion and still on the same bank, just a few steps away from Issey Miyake, you'll find the Comme des Garçons store. Also available at BVH Marais Homme and Galeries Lafayette Homme, the rue Faubourg-Saint-Honoré store offers not only an impressive selection of pieces spread across four floors but also several items from the collections of Junya Watanabe and Noir Kei Ninomiya, both protégés of Rei Kawakubo herself.
