Pop-ups, restaurants, beach makeovers: fashion takes to the four corners of the world

This summer, fashion goes on vacation too Pop-ups, restaurants, beach makeovers: fashion takes to the four corners of the world

After an intense Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Week last June, fashion needs a break, a vacation, to leave the gray skies of Milan and Paris behind, replacing the runways with white sandy beaches. Some French Houses have chosen to leave France for sunny new horizons, others have stayed in Paris to offer a summer break for Parisians who cannot leave the capital, and some foreign brands have chosen our sweet France as their vacation spot. Pop-ups, logoed beach makeovers, branded restaurants, here’s a summary of these must-visit iconic places for a summer fashion getaway.

Sunbathing with Dolce & Gabbana

The first stop on this beautiful itinerary is none other than Saint-Tropez. After a tourist stop at the famous Cruchot national police station, we highly recommend continuing your journey to the Casa Amor beach club on Pampelonne beach, where Dolce & Gabbana ensures all beach visitors an Italian dolce vita ambiance. Once a small fishing village made famous by Brigitte Bardot, the beach club has been completely redecorated in the vibrant colors of Sicily, with the iconic Sicilian cart as the main protagonist. Ideal for French people dreaming of Italy, pistachio ice cream, and granita.

Coffee Break with Louis Vuitton

Once your Spritz is sipped, the journey continues with the White 1921 Hotel and its restaurant revamped by Louis Vuitton. Located at Place des Lices, the hotel houses a restaurant entirely decorated with the French House’s monogram. With a small, all-pink courtyard that can accommodate up to 40 people, chefs Arnaud Donckele & Maxime Frédéric are at the helm of the restaurant, offering refined French haute cuisine dishes. The Saint-Tropez boutique also offers the LV By the Pool collection, ranging from ready-to-wear to accessories. The opening in Saint-Tropez marks the beginning of the House’s activities in seaside resorts, including restaurants, cafes, and pools, extending this year from Miami to Macau. A temporary Louis Vuitton bar also opened in Taormina, Italy, last year in June.

Beach Shopping with Givenchy

Speaking of Italy, Givenchy, an iconic French House born in 1952, has set up shop in Sardinia, a small Italian island neighboring (but not necessarily friendly with) Corsica, opening a pop-up in Porto Cervo, on the Costa Smeralda. Open until September 8, the pop-up in collaboration with the Nikki Beach Pop Up Bar Lounge aims to showcase the Givenchy Plage collection, inspired by the very refined Clos Fiorentina, Hubert de Givenchy's summer residence in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. French linen models, decorated with a print inspired by the House’s founder’s lemon grove, are reinterpreted with modern cuts. Available pieces range from a summer raffia version of the Voyou bag to colorful swimsuits in a palette of sea green and coral, as well as striped pareo sets.

Nap Time with Jacquemus

The journey then becomes more intense as we leave Europe for America. The first stop, but not the least, is in the Bahamas, specifically Paradise Island, where Jacquemus has decided to relax from June 7 to July 31. After the success of his pop-up in Saint Tropez last summer, Jacquemus has decided to aim higher this year and fly across the Atlantic for a stay of relaxation, Caipirinha, and sunbathing at the Four Seasons on Paradise Island. The young southern designer has not only redecorated the paradisiacal seashore of the Bahamas with his signature palette but also set up shop in the Carlo boutique at the Ocean Club, transformed into a Jacquemus pop-up until the end of July. The boutique will feature a selection of ready-to-wear pieces, shoes, and leather goods from his latest spring-summer collection, Les Sculptures.

City Stroll with Balmain

Still in a paradisiacal setting, Balmain has nestled in the heart of Shelter Island, a small town in New York State, where a pop-up will be open from July 17 to August 15. Olivier Rousteing has chosen to partner with Cameron Silver, a Los Angeles-based stylist and founder of Decades Inc., to organize a distribution of his brand in a vacation spot, where a carefully curated selection of items from the House’s latest collections will be available. A great way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the creative director at the helm of Balmain.

Card Game with AMI

For less fortunate Parisians who will not have the chance to leave the capital this summer, AMI is taking care of it. Alexandre Mattiussi’s brand is invading the roof of Galeries Lafayette and offering a summer-flavored pop-up. Striped deckchairs that rival those on the Côte d'Azur, ice cream, beach cabins straight out of Dalida’s song Itsi Bitsi Petit Bikini, the brand offers its visitors the chance to take a summer break for a game of pétanque with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The AMI Paris Cabana is open from July 3 to September 2.
