Summer has arrived in Milan and with it, Fashion Week. After a week of shows filled with positive energy, which marked the advance of new palettes with bright tones and accessories that aren't afraid to stand out, it's time to observe which trends are making their way through the streets of the Lombard capital. While established brands like Prada, Dsquared, and Martine Rose showcased aesthetics belonging to various subcultures, from the world of ravers to bikers, from Mexican wrestling to ballroom, outside the shows, at the after-parties, and among the tables of the bars most frequented by the fashion industry, it really seems that the vintage aesthetic has become an indispensable constant. Among the standout trends are the 2000s look, which despite being present for several seasons, shows no signs of waning, and some items linked to 70s fashion, a new boho-chic inspired by the summer heat, drawing style tips from icons like Jane Birkin and Françoise Hardy. One item that was a hit this season at Fashion Week was the boat shoes, which are establishing themselves as the new it-shoe of the moment precisely because of their lived-in aesthetic. As with every Fashion Week, we went to discover the best looks of the week, here they are.
