Louis Vuitton unveils Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour looks designed by Pharrell

Just over a month has passed since Pharrell's first show as creative director of Louis Vuitton, a star-studded presentation attended by numerous international stars. Among them was Beyoncé, who wore a look specially designed by Pharrell for the Detroit leg of the Renaissance World Tour yesterday. During the concert, the singer captured the hearts of her audience in a jumpsuit studded with Louis Vuitton's Damier check, whose sketch designed by Pharrell was unveiled by the French fashion house just today. The looks of the corps de ballet and 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter were also by Pharrell, in dark camouflage embellished with small crystals. Beyoncé collaborated with several brands on the looks for her world tour, but the most popular were by Jacquemus, Mugler, Schiaparelli and Alexander McQueen.

This is the first time since announcing his tenure at Louis Vuitton that the musician-designer has dressed a pop star on tour, a task that will surely be assigned to him by many other stars in the future, given Pharrell's colossal status in the music world. Even before his first show was staged, on the Pont Neuf in Paris, Pharrell had unveiled the maison's campaign starring Rihanna, and it is to be expected that in the months to come we will see the multicolour Speedy sported by other friends of the designer, such as Tyler The Creator, Asap Rocky, Zendaya or Jaden Smith, all of whom were also present at the mega show last June.
