Saint Laurent to show at Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie in June
Anthony Vaccarello's tour continues

After last year's fashion show in the desert outside Marrakech, Anthony Vaccarello has chosen a new destination for Saint Laurent's next show: the brand's upcoming SS24 menswear collection will be presented at Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie on June 12. The last major fashion brand to hold a show in Berlin had been Bottega Veneta for the FW21 season-a show organized at Berghain and followed by an after-party at Soho House at the height of the pandemic that marked the beginning of the end for Daniel Lee's successful era at the brand.
The Berlin building, which opened in 1968, is the work of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, one of the most celebrated designers in 20th-century history. Critics consider the space a masterpiece of modernism, spanning 28,000 square meters in a vast structure of glass and metal. Recently the building hosted the first Rimowa Design Awards and while in past years it has been chosen as the location for shows and presentations by Giorgio Armani and Hugo Boss.
