Adrien Brody will design an ongoing capsule for Bally

Hollywood and Switzerland are getting closer. Adrien Brody, an Oscar-winning actor for The Pianist as well as a cult presence in series such as Succession and Peaky Blinders, will collaborate with the creative studio of Bally, the brand placed under the creative direction of Rhuigi Villaseñor, on the production of a series of capsule collections that will range from ready-to-wear to accessories and will be inspired by the off-set life of the actor, who is a great lover of travel as well as a successful painter and the son of the famous photographer Sylvia Plachy. The first results of the collaboration between the brand and the actor should be presented by the end of the year and will represent a meeting point between Bally's historical heritage, which has always collaborated with artists and musicians, and its own creative sensibility.

Adrien Brody, one of the recurring faces in Wes Anderson's films, has long been considered a style icon, especially for his unfailingly perfectly cut suits. His previous forays into the fashion world include his unforgettable appearance in the cast of Prada's FW12 show and his starring role in both the Christmas commercial filmed by Wes Anderson for H&M in 2016 and in Kith & Kin's FW21 lookbook that later went viral on the Internet - as well as his presence at Bally's FW23 show at Milan Fashion Week. Commenting on the news of the collaboration, Brody said: «As an artist, I am very excited to explore a new form of creative expression. It is an honor for me to work with Bally. This exceptional collaboration gives me the opportunity to channel my creative energy in new ways.  My work has led me to travel extensively and step into different roles and unusual places. Therefore, the theme of travel will be the main theme of the narrative, a series of capsules that aim to capture and infuse the beauty of traveling».
