The star, producer and director of the third volume of Creed, Michael B. Jordan, announced the release of the film with advertising campaigns run by Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, two brands historically linked to American culture. Creed III narrates a new chapter in the life of Adonis Creed, in which the athlete clashes in the ring with a friend turned rival. Two days ago, Calvin Klein released "Calvins or nothing," the famous black and white shooting that on this occasion portrays the actor shirtless, wearing a pair of boxer shorts - the 1996 Athletic and Modern Cotton Performance - while today Ralph Lauren unveiled a capsule collection inspired by the star of Creed III, in the film entirely dressed by the brand, combining haute couture with modern sports fabrics.

This year Jordan has been hired by Ralph Lauren as the new face of Purple Label, the clothing line that the film's star Adonis Creed wears outside the ring, following the actor's discontinuation of his four-year partnership with Coach. The collection "Adonis Creed for Ralph Lauren," out tomorrow, replicates looks from Creed's wardrobe with double-breasted suits in grey and blue pinstripes, khaki and white sweatshirts, and a black trench coat. The labels on each garment copy those of the boxer in the film, "for Adonis Creed." The custom-made capsule will be on sale in selected stores in New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo, as well as online, and although Ralph Lauren has already contributed costume design to several films, it represents the first time garments designed by the brand for film characters will be available for sale to consumers.
