Last year, and in early September to be precise, Golden Goose had presented the "From Venice to Venice" project in Venice, which had the dual purpose of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the brand's founding and reaffirming its connection to the world of skateboarding through athlete Cory Juneau. To do so, the brand had created a spectacular floating skatepark in the middle of the Venice lagoon - a first chapter that has now been completed by arriving, from the original Venice, to California's celebrated Venice Beach, where Golden Goose organized the take-over of the legendary Pink Motel, built in 1946 on San Fernando Road, and its famous swimming pool, which was transformed into a skate bowl where Juneau, who won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021 in a full Golden Goose look, performed alongside some of the most prominent skateboarders on the Los Angeles scene.

During the evening, which was enlivened by Myles Hendrik's DJ set, the new Ball Star sneakers were unveiled while, after a Co-Creation experience inside Cadillac Jack's Café inside the famous motel, guests gathered for an exclusive dinner after which they went through an experiential tunnel in which they were able to learn more about the history and philosophy of Made in Italy according to Golden Goose, as well as discover the details of the first From Venice to Venice event.

The editorial staff of nss magazine was also present at the event, which was the subject of Conrad Byer's latest reportage that you can see by scrolling through the gallery above.
