English minimalism in the new Uniqlo x JW Anderson collection

Uniqlo announces today that it will launch a new Autumn/Winter 2022 Uniqlo and JW Anderson collection, the London-based brand that revolutionized contemporary fashion, on Friday 14 October. This latest line represents minimalism through a simple, comfortable and fun style in harmony with Jonathan Anderson's free-spirited design ethos.

Commenting on the collection, the designer said: «The inspiration for this season came from some great examples of modern British architecture, mainly those with a minimalist sensibility. Complementing the simplicity of the design is an attention to detail derived from the design codes of architectural minimalism.»

For this Autumn/Winter 2022 line, highly functional fabrics were used to enhance comfort, such as a double-sided coat with a lightweight belt and sweatpants with zips to adjust and customize fits. An Ultra Light Down parka with quilted seams, a sports jacket with subtle color blocks and button fastening pockets, and a turtleneck jumper with light colors - all feature simple, chic designs conceived to blend in with modern, minimalist design environments.
