Also this year the summer is over and the first bell of the year has rung. All over Italy a new school year is beginning and a new generation is preparing to sit at the school desks. The start of school is also interesting because it offers a unique insight into the latest youth fashion: If fashion is made by celebrities, teens still decide what's hot in streetwear. There are many notable elements in nss magazine's traditional Back to School Report, photographed this year by Onofrio Petronella. Although sneakers from Nike, Jordan, and Off-White™ are still in the spotlight, along with pieces from Yeezy, Vlone, Iuter, and Supreme, a new trend seems to be taking hold, reminiscent of the Y2K style so prevalent on TikTok: jeans with colorful graphics, prints reminiscent of cartoons, garish motocross jerseys paired with bandage glasses. There's also no shortage of interesting details like bandanas, ironic tote bags, scarves and jewelry, and workwear jeans.
