Our Legacy, Stussy and Denim Tears together for a "three-way" collab
Two is a party, three is a crowd
September 7th, 2022
Three cult brands, Swedish Our Legacy and American Stussy and Denim Tears, have joined forces for a new triple collaboration. In fact, Tremaine Emory, current mastermind of American streetwear, has brought together the aesthetics of Stussy and Our Legacy to sign a denim jacket and trouser set capable of narrating the creative iconoclasm that unites them and makes them subversive streetwear icons.
The idea behind the collaboration, which could also be the first chapter of an ongoing project (already the brands are talking about an "inauguration," hinting that their link-up will continue), is based on the theme of their hometowns: Jamaica Queens, Stockholm, and Laguna Beach. The denim jackets and pants are decorated with lettering and emblems commemorating each of these locations in a series of references with which the two garments, presented in two different colorways, are literally covered.
