Roksanda Ilincic nasce a Belgrado e nel 1999 si trasferisce a Londra per studiare

fashion design alla Central Saint Martins. Dopo il diploma fonda il suo omonimo brand e negli anni crea una personale idea di stile. Vestiti eleganti e colori vivaci diventano il suo marchio di fabbrica, un marchio apprezzato da stars come Tilda Swinton, Roisin Murphy, Carey Mulligan o Michelle Obama.

Anche la collezione AW 2012/2013 sembra essere adatta ad una donna importante e consapevole. Combinazioni di tessuti differenti interessano jersey, seta , cachemire, raso ed inserti di pelliccia. Il glamour regna su ogni capo, sui lunghi abiti di raso, sui parka, sulle gonne a matita, i pantaloni fluidi, le felpe e sui cappotti oversized. Le linee morbide, le proporzioni maxi e l’accostamento di elementi sportivi con altri decisamente lady-like dagli echi 40s enfatizzano lo stile aristocratico della collezione. Altrettanto sofisticata è la palette di colori: mirtillo, turchese, bordeaux, blu, viola, fucsia, bianco e la pennellata di giallo delle pumps col cinturino.

Roksanda Ilincic was born in Belgrade and in 1999 moved to London to study fashion design at Central Saint Martins. After the graduation she starts her homonym brand and, getting on in years, creates a personal idea of style. Elegant clothes and bright colors become her trademark, a thing appreciates by stars like Tilda Swinton, Roisin Murphy, Carey Mulligan  or  Michelle Obama.

Also the FW 2012/2013 collection seems to be suitable for an important and aware woman. Combinations of fabric intersects jersey, silk, cashmere, satin and insertion of fur. Glamour reigns over each item, over the log satin dresses, over the parkas, over the full skirts, the fluid trousers, the sweaters and over the oversized coat. The soft lines, the maxi proportions and the combination of sporty elements with other definitely lady-like with 40s echoes emphasizes the aristocratic style of the collection. As much sophisticated is the colour palette: cranberry, turquoise, Bordeaux, blue, purple, fuchsia, white and the stroke of yellow of ankle-strap pumps.
