Design and metaverse meet in Hogan's new immersive experience
Untraditional by Hogan's metaverse lands in Milan from June 7th to 12th
June 1st, 2022
After presenting its first collection of NFT sneakers during Decentraland Fashion Week, Hogan is preparing to welcome the public to its Via Monte Napoleone boutique for an immersive experience during Milan Design Week June 7-12. Through an Oculus visor, in fact, visitors will be able to explore the five digital worlds that studio WHY and Philip Abussi of Mokamusic have recreated for the brand, modeled on the vision of the five international digital artists who worked on the Hogan Untraditional NFTs project: unique works in a limited edition of 500 NFTs. Also for the occasion, an installation inside the store will allow the public to see physical versions of NFTs Hogan Untraditional, created by the Nita studio, thus uniting the digital and real worlds.
Hogan's digital universe is divided into a series of different rooms each of which has unique elements reflecting the aesthetic language of the five digital artists who worked on NFTs Hogan Untraditional project. Past the first room, visitors will enter Finn Berenbroek's world, a metaphysical setting in which stairways and architecture appear and where large iridescent bubbles similar to surreal clouds float by. Next, we will find Vincent Ghiotti's nocturnal and mysterious universe: a vast meadow from which luminous prisms rise; Large colorful roses and abstract geometric figures float in a purple sky in Jimmy Linear's creative vision, and then Silvio Rondelli's with its futuristic colors creating an entity of surreal and dark vibrations. Closing this immersive journey will be the digital scenery that houses Yoann De Geetere's creation, a world that praises nature, with its beauty and uniqueness.
Hogan will also host two META-TALKS during Design Week, dedicated to the metaverse, cryptocurrencies, digital art and the future of Web 3.0 will be held during Design Week.
The first META-TALK, to be held on Tuesday, June 7, will have as its exclusive guest Gianluigi Ballarani, co-founder of Human Data Income, a platform that allows users to monetize the sharing of their data, and will touch on topics on the world of crypto-currencies, their evolution over time and the future of their market. He will be accompanied in the talk by Gloria Maria Cappelletti, creative consultant, editor, and owner of the eponymous digital art gallery.
The second META-TALK, scheduled for Thursday, June 9, will instead feature Software Boy, enfant prodige of digital art, who will delve instead into the world of NFTs and the potential they hold for the future of art and creativity. The talk will be moderated by Philip Abussi, co-founder of Mokamusic, music consultant and designer, and composer of NFT music libraries-his are the sound compositions created specifically for Hogan's immersive journey through Oculus visors, created in collaboration with WHY.
