The adidas x Gucci collection has a release date

Gucci announced today the release date of the adidas x Gucci collection presented at last Milan Fashion Week with the Exquisite runway show. Bearing the signature and idiosyncratic aesthetic of Alessandro Michele, the collection mixes the languages of luxury fashion and sportswear and was presented via a lookbook inspired by archival catalogs, in which posed models stand out against a series of hyper-colored backgrounds.

Both brands defined by their three-stripe motif, both adidas and Gucci have fused their most iconic symbols into the items in the collections, taking inspiration from classic sports silhouettes with a 70s and 80s flavor. The range of the collection goes from the classic jogger pants with the three white stripes of adidas and the tricolor of Gucci on the other, to the fusion of branding with the adidas shamrock that joins the GG monogram up to items closer to the formalwear world as heeled shoes, classic suede loafers and silk shoes. Just the retro and kaleidoscopic aesthetic of the collection sends the message that there are no dogmas in fashion and self-expression is the only thing that matters.

The adidas x Gucci collection will be available from June 7th in selected Gucci stores, specially designed Pop-Ups and online, as well as on the adidas CONFIRMED app.
