Gucci and adidas unveiled their collabo

UPDATE 02.25.22: After rumors last December, Gucci and adidas have finally raised the curtain on their collabo. Presented during the Exquisite Gucci show, they are part of the collection jackets, accessories and sneakers in which the German brand's Three Stripes come together with Gucci's classic motifs.

After Prada, adidas could have in store another collabo in the world of luxury. According to several sources, the brand would be close to launch a collection with Gucci consisting of bags, sneakers, apparel and accessories, showing us once again how the world of collabo is now fertile ground for any kind of influence.

Just think that only a month ago Alessandro Michele's brand presented its version of the Xbox in a fashion-gaming collabo that followed the one between Balenciaga and Fortnite. While there are now many brands and designers who over the years have created capsules and cross-sector collections or between different worlds, as can be precisely luxury and streetwear. If on the one hand many of these may seem like easy solutions to generate buzz and profit, on the other hand they certainly give us the opportunity to see creative marriages that until recently we could only imagine.
