Slam Jam collaborates with Levi's for a new drop
The third chapter of (Un) corporate uniforms in a grunge key
October 19th, 2021
On October 23, the new Slam Jam drop will be released in collaboration with Levi's, the third edition of (Un)corporate uniform which aims to put on the definitive uniform, this time in a grunge key, taking up the theme already addressed in an ironic key last month with the Kurt Cobain-inspired Converse Chuck 70.
The drop consists of three garments, a tie-dye shirt, the iconic striped mohair sweater and as a highlight a pair of Levi's® x Slam Jam custom series 501® jeans in worn denim. The items seem to come directly from the Seattle alternative music scene of the nineties, deliberately lived in and distressed to recreate the punk uniform par excellence. The collaboration marks the first time that Slam Jam has interpreted the iconic 501® model, the cult denim born in 1873 in California, synonymous with classic and casual American coolness, intimately connected to the aesthetic vision of Slam Jam and founder Luca Benini.
If you want to buy the new collabo, you can find it from 23 October available on the website.
