Oakley's new Coyote Boot
The iconic boot returns with a new style and in a limited edition
October 7th, 2021
The Coyote Boot has always been one of Oakley's most iconic products. The idea for the original boot was born more than twenty years ago to create a compromise between an amphibious or hiking boot and a sneaker combining performance, functionality and style. The inspiration followed was that of military combat boots, adding multifunctional features and a versatile design that now comes with three new colorways with tank soles and high-strength leather tips. For their restyling, the brand has also created a version called Coyote Neon Boot available in limited quantities online and in stores in Milan, London, New York and Santa Monica, California.
The new version of the Cowboy Boot has an EVA midsole and a non-slip rubber sole designed to follow the movements of the foot, keeping it flexible on the one hand but solid enough to withstand shocks on the other. The upper is made of Cordura® and leather and thanks to its lightness keeps the inside of the shoe ventilated while the laces are made of nylon and are inspired by those of trekking boots for their strength. Other functional details are the bellows tongue that prevents water or debris from entering the inside of the shoe and a hyperlight structure that allows you to move without constraints.
