The new exhibition of Mario Testino in Milan
The best photos of the legendary photographer will appear in two consecutive exhibitions
October 8th, 2021
Mario Testino he's more than a fashion photographer – he's a fashion legend. His contribution to the creation of the heritage of images that for decades has enriched the pages of Vogue, the archives of fans but above all the collective imagination is incalculable. For the first time, this immense archive will be exhibited with a series of unpublished works with the Unflitered exhibition that opened its doors in Milan at the 29 Arts in Progress Gallery this October and will remain open until February 22 with a short break between November 27 and December 2.
The Unfiltered exhibition will exhibit to the public more than 50 works by Mario Testino, which include both intimate portraits and iconic images of fashion, selected by the gallerists together with the photographer. Alongside the large-format shots, there will also be exclusive and unpublished works, such as snapshots available in new formats and editions, thus revealing a less known and more personal side of Testino's life and long career. Other protagonists of the exhibition will also be the photographs that appeared in the recent book Ciao, published by Taschen last year and dedicated to the photographer's love for Italy.
