5 cities around the world, 11 collections, 11 creative visions, more than 30 platforms. Moncler Genius shortens distances by connecting the whole world for the first time through MONDOGENIUS, an immersive digital experience in the brand's culture. Live from Milan, Alicia Keys kicked off the event by welcoming and accompanying the audience into the MONDOGENIUS universe, taking viewers from Milan to Shanghai, to Tokyo and Seoul, and then on to New York. Bringing together different communities and generations around the world, the journey becomes a symbol of belonging to the Moncler universe.
The journey of MONDOGENIUS began with the short film for collection 1 MONCLER JW ANDERSON began inside the Cineclub Il Cinemino, where a film made by the designer together with Luca Guadagnino runs on the screen. Then it was the turn of Sergio Zambon for collection 2 MONCLER 1952 MAN who led the audience through an exhibition inside the Central Station and followed by a charity auction on Artsy - and in the same location Craig Green showed a series of sculptural architectural structures for 5 MONCLER CRAIG GREEN. Finally, at Spazio Maiocchi, Francesco Ragazzi for 8 MONCLER PALM ANGELS reconstructed the aesthetic of a vintage store in the Santa Fe desert with the installation The Dune.
The scene then shifted to Shanghai, where Victoria Song first presented the 3 MONCLER GRENOBLE collection in a spectacular parachuting show above three wind tunnels and then unveiled to the public a series of screens connected by luminous cables on which images of the 7 MONCLER FRGMT HIROSHI FUJIWARA collection scrolled, worn in different cities around the world. Ding Yun Zhang, on the other hand, entrusted the presentation of his MONCLER + DINGYUN ZHANG collection to actress Guan Xiaotong, setting it in a mountain reconstructed inside Tank 5 in a dramatic and theatrical atmosphere. Staying in Asia, the show then moved first to Tokyo, where Sota Fukushi and Anne presented the 4 MONCLER HYKE show at the Telecom Center Building against the backdrop of a huge snow dome; and then to Seoul, at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, where Lee Sungkyung and Hwang Minhyun presented the MONCLER + GENTLE MONSTER collection.
Finally, after crossing the Pacific Ocean, the audience arrived in New York where Teezo Touchdown and Solange presented respectively, through their music, the 6 MONCLER 1017 ALYX 9SM and 2 MONCLER 1952 WOMAN collection by Veronica Leoni. The former saw Teezo as the protagonist of an exclusive live show, while the latter was told through a short film by Khalik Allah who, to the tune of Solange's Rest Your, explored the beauty of the contrasts of all women.
