Camille Miceli is the new artistic director of Pucci
The relaunch of the brand by LVMH continues
September 2nd, 2021
After the rumors of a few weeks ago, the confirmation of the appointment of Camille Miceli as the new artistic director of Pucci has arrived. The designer, the first woman to lead the brand, thus fills the void left in 2017 after Massimo Giorgetti's departure and marks another step towards the relaunch of the brand by LVMH.
Despite the little-known name, Miceli's CV boasts collaborations with leading names in the fashion system such as Azzedine Alaïa, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs and Nicolas Ghesquière. A choice within the group, since Camille Miceli has been part of LVMH since 1997, with whom she has already worked on Louis Vuitton as accessories creative director in 2014.
However, we will have to wait a little longer before seeing the fruits of his work on the brand, which has returned to the headlines also thanks to the unpredictable collaboration with Supreme a few months ago. In fact, during Milan Fashion Week a transition collection created by the brand's internal teams will be presented, while to see the first works by Camille Miceli it will be necessary to have a little more patience.
