Fred Perry's second collaboration x Casely-Hayford
The English tradition of Savile Row but with a new twist

Fred Perry has announced a new collaboration with Casely-Hayford, the English brand that has mixed the sartorial codes of Savile Row with the language of streetstyle. With their second capsule collection, the two brands want to reinvent the pillars of the traditional British wardrobe, celebrating the eclecticism of its present. Casely-Hayford is in fact a brand founded by one of the masters of classic Savile Row tailoring, Joe Casely-Hayford, and today managed by his son Charlie, who has always had an original and unique approach to classic English tailoring. Charlie Casely-Hayford, who co-designed the capsule, explained:
«I wanted to create something new starting from something old, celebrating those precious garments that are handed down from generation to generation and their cultural importance over the years. Growing up in Ridley Road, East London, I was immersed in a mix of cultures. The contrasting prints and colors and the liveliness of the market life were juxtaposed with impactful pieces like the bomber».
One of the highlights of the collection is the cotton piqué shirt decorated with a digital print designed by Charlie that plays with the visual identities of the two English brands. Other iconic garments of the British repertoire, such as Fred Perry's classic polo shirt or knitwear, have instead been revisited through details such as piping, or with new constructions – including a double-breasted braids cardigan that represents a proposal for more formal occasions.
