Givenchy between street art and fashion
An exclusive collaboration with graphic artist Chito
July 8th, 2021
Longtime friend and fan, Creative Director Matthew M. Williams invited artist Chito to develop some airbrush graphics, bringing his idioms into Givenchy's Spring 22 pre-collection.
T-shirts, jackets and accessories - such as the best-selling Antigona vertical bag - along with the iconic RIMOWA carry-on bag present new interpretations of Maison's emblems along with Chito's characters, such as his cartoon dog: a symbol of protection and loyalty or the Truehearted: a Pop-inspired motif depicting a girl and a heart or even the 4G Heart, a fusion of Givenchy's DNA with the artist's signature.
“Coming from creating unique pieces with airbrushed embellishments on rare objects and garments, and now being able to bring them to the world is something special in itself, [...] only Givenchy would be able to make that happen.” - Chito.
