A collaboration between Birkenstock and Jil Sander is on the way

After collaborating with Rick Owens, Proenza Schouler and Valentino, Birkenstock returns once again to the world of fashion with Jil Sander. As part of the Jil Sander+ project, the collaboration features three iconic models such as Arizona, the Milan and the Berlin reinterpreted by Lucie and Luke Meier who worked on volumes and details to create three unique versions but faithful to the DNA of the German brand.
"They contacted us and we immediately thought it could be a perfect addition to our Jil Sander + line for its outdoor character, for the environment and for the home," said Lucie Meier. "It fits perfectly into this universe of authenticity and honesty in products." The outdoor character obviously also emerges in the campaign photos taken by Talia Chetrit, after bucolic landscapes and scenarios join the cool character acquired almost involuntarily by Birkenstock over the years.
The Jil Sander x Birkenstock collection will be available from July 1st at 1774.com, jilsander.com and mytheresa.com.
