The new adidas Superstar in collaboration with LEGO

After the success of the ZX 8000, adidas and LEGO return to collaborate for two new versions of the iconic Superstars. The first, a wearable sneaker, sees the insertion of some LEGO parts on the upper and on other points of the shoe which also in this version maintains the traditional white leather.

The Superstar 10282 instead represent the dream of every collector, giving the possibility to build a LEGO sneaker directly in the living room. Maintaining all the classic characteristics of the Superstars, thanks to its 17 extra bricks it will give the possibility to choose which sneaker to build: the right or the left? “As a kid of the ’80s and growing up in the ’90s, the Superstar sneaker with its rich street art culture was such an iconic item, and that’s also when I got my first pair” said LEGO Senior Designer Florian Müller. “I was super excited to work on this model. As shoes represent very organic objects, made from flexible material that also look different on every person, it was a fun challenge to translate this into the LEGO System in Play, which by nature is square and blocky.”

The adidas x LEGO Superstars will be available from July 1st online and in the brand's stores, while the Superstar 10282 will arrive on the same day in the LEGO stores.
