Louis Vuitton has opened a pop-up store in Sardinia
Nothing funnier than shopping while on holiday
June 4th, 2021
Louis Vuitton has just inaugurated its first pop-up store in a resort in Italy, in the south of Sardinia, inside the famous Forte Village, in Santa Margherita di Pula, in the province of Cagliari.
The brand's pop-up is located in a building with a circular plan, in masonry with raw plaster and large and bright arched windows. Space is decorated with a giant plaster gecko, a symbol of luck and prosperity, and decorated with the Monogram motif that stands on a round apricot wall at the entrance to the pop-up store. The colour palette, in shades of terracotta, sand and saffron, is inspired by the sunsets on the island's sea while the environment is decorated with a cascade of light created by bell lamp, an iconic piece from Louis Vuitton's Objets Nomades collection.
Vintage furnishings, such as stools and wooden benches with raw linen cushions in the colours of the warm Sardinian sun, and armchairs, covered in natural linen, are mixed with design pieces such as Carlo Scarpa's Samo Table. The store will offer leather goods, clothing, footwear, travel items, home textiles, watches, jewellery, accessories, fragrances and the Objets Nomades collection – consisting of designer furnishings created in collaboration with some of the world's most famous designers.
