The new Cyklon sneaker by La Sportiva and BOA Fit System

BOA and La Sportiva's first collaboration dates back to 2015, with the G2 SM extreme mountaineering boot. At the time the collaboration was known only within the narrow niche of hiking lovers, but today things are different: gorpcore has become the dominant trend of the past few years and around trail running an entire culture has arisen. It's therefore easy to understand why the new model created together by the two brands, La Sportiva Cyklon, a technical shoe equipped with BOA® Fit System, has such a fascinating and unconventional design that has its highlight in the tilting system adjustable to the millimetre through a wheel that tightens or widens the TX4 lace – created in a hyper-resistant material and designed to withstand any type of performance.

Designed for any type of technical terrain, La Sportiva Cyklon is characterized by the new Dynamic Cage closure system with an integrated BOA Fit System. At the heart of the lacing system is the internal Dynamic Flap, which wraps around the shoe and allows you to adjust the system tension by acting directly on the BOA Fit System with manual adjustment. The protective TPU tip and the multi-layered and thermo-welded side panel provide additional structure and stability. The mud-ground tread, created to tackle soft, muddy terrain, uses the ultra-tight FriXion® White Sports compound and provides the ability to integrate AT Grip Spike nails for use on icy terrain. Finally, the bi-density EVA innersole with stabilizer insert contributes to the overall stability of the shoe and contains the weight.
