Giorgio Armani becomes the new patron of La Scala in Milan

«My commitment to Milan, following this upsetting past year, has been manifold, and I certainly could not neglect culture, a sector [that] has been hit particularly hard»

With these words Giorgio Armani announced yesterday his support of Teatro alla Scala as a founding partner, which will be formalized on May 17th during the assembly of the Teatro alla Scala Foundation in Milan in the presence of mayor Giuseppe Sala. Meanwhile, the historic Milanese theatre will open again on May 11th on the Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Riccardo Muti.
