Rick Owens and Champion collaborated for a new capsule

The last few months have been full of collaborations for Rick Owens: first there was the boot co-signed with Doc Martens (of which a new edition will arrive in May), then the doormat created together with Tommy Cash and, now, the second chapter of his collaboration with Champion. For the SS21 capsule, Owens adapted a wider selection of sporstwear classics in light of its aesthetic halfway between industrial, Gothic and fetish – but with more in-depth work on silhouettes, especially for hoodies and sweatshirts.

The collection has used largely sustainable materials such as recycled nylon and organic cotton and the packaging will also be plastic free and completely recyclable. The hits of the collection are certainly the masks that look like long veils and accessories such as bucket hat and tote bag and, as was said, hoodies and sweatshirts, all equipped with unusual and deconstructed cuts and patterns.
