Vibram's latest project aims to extend the life of your shoes
With 'Repair If You Care' the brand focuses on the reuse and repair of footwear
March 3rd, 2021
Always committed to environmental sustainability and at the forefront of the relaunch of the DIY trend in the fashion world, Vibram unveils now its latest initiative. With the Repair If You Care campaign, the leading brand in the production of high-performance rubber soles has decided to focus on the concept of reuse and repair as a sustainable approach.
The main goal of the company is to raise awareness among the final consumer, inviting them not to throw away their shoes, but to reuse and personalize them, underlining how much repair is a valuable opportunity to limit waste and a conscious choice linked to sustainability. Vibram, therefore, invites to increase the life span of a product to reduce its environmental impact, underlining how even the smallest contribution of each of us can make a difference.
The initiative will kick off in March through a series of digital activities on all the company's social channels and on the Vibram website. In addition, the cobbler locator section will be updated to give greater visibility to all the shoemakers present. The project will also aim to support the repair business, giving greater visibility to the sector, with the aim of renewing consumer interest in the world of shoemaking.
With Repair If You Care, Vibram is committed to raising the awareness of the end-user, making them more aware of the best use - or rather, reuse - of their footwear.
