It may have disappeared from social media, but Bottega Veneta continues to make news thanks to the provocations of its creative director Daniel Lee. After the iconic Puddle Boot and the other models that dominated last season, Bottega returns with a pair of Barefoot Shoes and sandals inspired by the aforementioned Puddle Boot. Close to the world of techwear and high functionality, the first model closely resembles a slip-on sneaker where Barefoot technology is used throughout the shoe to wrap the foot in its entirety. Sole included. Available in all sizes, the available colours range from “Yellow / Red / Green” to “Red / Green / Blue”, up to green and brown monochromatic.
The Puddle Boot instead finds new life in the form of sandal, keeping intact some elements of the original model, from the rounded tip to the flat sole. The sandal is made with a biodegradable polymer, thus contributing not only to the sustainable side but also to that of design and minimal ecstatic.
Both models will be available for pre-order from February 25 on the Bottega Veneta website.
