Marine Serre x Mytheresa's new capsule collection

Marine Serre is one of the most exciting young brands of the luxury fashion landscape, able to immediately and with surprising success impose its presence in the industry by dressing not only the habitués of European and American fashion weeks but also prominent names such as Beyoncé and A$AP Rocky, who have made its crescent pattern a must-have. Today Marine Serre's eco-futuristic vision has expanded, with a 28-piece capsule divided into two thematic sections and with new colourways made exclusively for luxury retailer Mytheresa. Together with the Marine Serre x Mytheresa capsule, a second capsule will make its debut, which represents the collaboration between Marine Serre and Jimmy Choo. The designer said:

When we created the capsule for Mytheresa, we were thinking about what the need is today and indeed we have a lot of activewear because we have spent so much time at home since a year, so of course it is going to influence the creation.

The first thematic section of the capsule is inspired by activewear and includes the now-classic bodycon style jersey of the brand proposed on jumpsuits, tops and leggings available in shades of brown and beige. The second theme instead presents a white and blue colour palette composed of recycled silhouettes such as dresses created from regenerated sheets and upcycled leather tops and trousers. The exclusive Marine Serre crescent moons are also present throughout this collection, from all-over printed pieces to engraved leather or denim, combined synthetically within the new and exclusive themes. The capsule co-signed with Jimmy Choo, on the other hand, portrayed in the campaign shots and part of the brand's SS21 collection, focuses on six reworked styles starting from Jimmy Choo's archive designs, especially the FARO silhouette of the brand's FW00 collection. It is also dominated by the presence of Marine Serre's crescent moon, repeated on all the items of the collaboration.
