Zara signs its first ever collaboration with Everlast
The fast fashion giant chose a very nostalgic brand
January 18th, 2021
For its first-ever collaboration, the fast-fashion giant Zara, owned by Inditex, has picked Everlast, the American sportswear brand that became a real phenomenon in Italy at the beginning of the 2000s. The collection consists of brand classics such as hoodies and crewnecks, but also unexpected items such as a shirt and a trench coat, all with a price range between €30 and €80.
Although the collaboration won't be available on all markets, the project testifies how the power of the Inditex group leads more and more brands to marry collaborations and projects. Eastpak has sold some of its items in Bershka stores, while Havaianas has signed collaborations with Valentino and Missoni as well as with Pull&Bear and Stradivarius. A trend first inaugurated by H&M, always active with collabs and capsules with high-fashion names, the latest is Simone Rocha, in a broader attempt to bring together two distant realities with very different audiences and price ranges.
At the moment the collaboration between Zara and Everlast is available only for the English market, while there is no news on a release for the Italian market.
