Pitti Uomo goes digital
The event will start tomorrow and end on January 14
January 11th, 2021
Pitti Uomo, one of the most important Italian manswear-themed events, will be held this year in an unprecedented digital version. The Florentine event traditionally organized in the Fortezza Da Basso in Florence will be divided between live-stream presentations and digital appointments with buyers, following the model already tested by last year's digital Fashion Weeks.
The last 2020 edition of Pitti Uomo had been postponed due to the pandemic but there was still the hope of being able to organize a physical event in 2021 – a circumstance that did not occur given the state of the spread of infections. Among the most important brands that will present at this year's edition are Brunello Cucinelli and Herno and the presentations will be held between 12 and 14 January.
