Fashion Revolution's art contest for sustainable fashion

Artivism is the name chosen by Fashion Revolution Italia and Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto for their new call-to-action towards the art world that will lead to the organization of a virtual exhibition spread on Fashion Revolution's online channels. 10 works will also be chosen to participate in a five-day Unidee residence, dedicated to deepening the themes covered by the selected works and their possible developments together with the Think Tank of Cittadellarte Fashion B.E.S.T. Biella Ethical Sustainable Think Tank and Fashion Revolution.

The works can be made with any expressive language, but their use must be designed for the online and digital world. The contents must therefore be videos, images, music works, but also performances and events that tell the deep connection between environmental and social sustainability in fashion. About the new initiative Marina Spadafora, country coordinator of Fashion Revolution Italia, said:

«We want to give everyone's creativity the opportunity to put themselves at the service of sustainable development, amplifying its urgency, highlighting its interconnected social and environmental dimensions. It is an original and inclusive way of communicating around the theme».
