'(Un)corporate Uniforms' is the first apparel collection designed by the Italian e multi disciplinary platform

Over the last few years, Slam Jam has established itself as one of the most influential voices of the streetwear and luxury scene at an Italian and global level. Founded in the outskirts of Ferrara in 1989 by Luca Benini, Slam Jam started out as a distributor serving the underground, evolving as a global retail platform, creativity incubator and cultural institution.
Today the Italian retailer announces the latest, unprecedented, chapter, in its history, the first in-house collection, the first one not part of a collaboration with another brand. Together with the Paris-based creative studio Ill-Studio, Slam Jam presents (Un)corporate Uniforms, a new project whose ultimate goal is the research and definition of a contemporary uniform, which has always been a central topic in the fashion industry. The items produced by Slam Jam arise from the intention to create something that can unite and bring together those who wear them, thus defining a community of people united by the same principles and the same aesthetic inclinations, what Slam Jam does on a larger scale as a retailer and trendsetter.
The collection range, entirely unisex, is composed of three items, two tops and one pair of bottoms, coming in two different colours, black and khaki. The Diagonal Yuma Anorak sports a cropped fit, panelled construction, diagonal zip closure, an internal lining, side pockets with press-studs button closure, back-pences, adjustable velcro cuffs, and a rubber-stopper label. The Joilet Overshirt comes in an oversized fit, with a classic collar, press-studs button closure, panelled construction, inner pocket, button cuffs, back-pences, a velcro patch at the chest, and is finished rubber-stopper label. The Diagonal Attica Pant features a straight leg, regular fit, french pocket, stitched crease, hook closure, zip fly, suitable waist with velcro closure, back pocket press-studs button closure, rubber-stopper label.
Another distinctive element of the collection is the logo, an inverted A in capital letters, inserted in a dashed circle. The undefined perimeter of the icon wants to represent the continuous influences and energies that come from the outside, that try to condition and inspire that rebellious and independent character that the circle shelters.
