The Nike Zoom MMW 4 by Matthew Williams

UPDATE 12/16/2020: After the first images landed online, the Nike Zoom MMW 4 signed by Matthew M. Williams finally have a release date. The sneaker will be available from December 21st on the Nike SNKRS app and in select stores with a retail price of $450.

Between a collection for 1017 Alyx 9SM and another one for Givenchy, Matthew Williams seems to have found the time to devote himself to a new collaboration with Nike. After the Air Force 1 High, Williams has signed a brand new silhouette that incorporates some elements already known to Nike fans to combine them in a new sneaker, the Zoom MMW 4.

The first feature that immediately catches the eye is the midsole, which takes up the one used on the ISPA Road Warrior by adding foam to increase the comfort of the sneaker by extending it from the toe to the heel. The upper part is made up of different types of mesh held together by a series of fused seams, while on the sides of the sneaker we find the inevitable swoosh in two different sizes. The final touch, however, is the branding of Matthew M. Williams, present not only on the lace keeper but also on the sole and on the back of the sneakers.
