Off-White™ x Stüssy T-shirt to raise funds for the Black community

In the range of T-shirts created by Stüssy on the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the one created with Off-White™ has a particular value. The tee, in fact, is part of the second phase of the “I Support Young Black Businesses” project, the program founded by Virgil Abloh which consists of quarterly fundraising aimed at raising awareness and supporting the black community. 

Featuring the juxtaposition between the slogan "I Support Young Black Businesses", Stüssy logo, the image of a Sphinx and the signature of Abloh, the tee was produced by Jay Green of One Accord Apparel Group, the same black-owned Chicago-based company of screen printing that helped launch Abloh's career. Stüssy will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales to Future of Museums, an organization of curators, scholars, administrators in the black and indigenous art sector, dedicated to eliminating systemic racism and colonial practices in museums and art spaces. In addition, Off-White™ will make a separate donation to support the cause. 

In parallel to the "I Support Young Black Businesses" project, we are working with organizations that we believe are strongly involved and have a decisive role in the fight against social justice, said Virgil Abloh. This second chapter summarizes this perfect fusion. I have been a Stüssy fan for a long time and it is an honor for me to create a unique product and support such an important reality as Future of Museums. 

This second chapter of fundraising is part of the broader program inaugurated with the support of Chicago CRED, an organization that has been collaborating with Abloh since 2017 in his hometown, with the aim of ending gun violence. 

The Off-White™ "I SUPPORT YOUNG BLACK BUSINESSES" x Stüssy t-shirt will be available exclusively in Stüssy Chapter Stores, Dover Street Market and on www.stussy.com starting at 10:00 PST on Friday 20 November.
