Louis Vuitton's new corporate campaign

Founded over a hundred years ago as a luxury suitcase manufacturer, Louis Vuitton is a Maison for which the concept of travel is something fundamental. A journey that, season after season, becomes increasingly metaphorical, increasingly symbolic, just as the journey portrayed in the photos that Vivian Sassen shot in Iceland for the brand's 2020 corporate campaign.
The protagonists of the campaign are a series of children who move in majestic and dreamlike landscapes: expanses of black sand in which the Alzer trunks are stacked in the shape of an Eiffel Tower, underwater caves where the monogram of the brand shines phosphorescent, beaches along which gigantic keys parade, hat boxes become musical tambourines.
A message of optimism and hope, but also an invitation to dream and joy, for a campaign that was carried out entirely on site: not only was the entire production team Icelandic but also the children protagonists of the campaign are real pupils of Icelandic schools.
