The new Gucci commercial shot by the D'Innocenzo brothers
The latest Gucci Epilogue chapter set between Palazzo Sacchetti and Campo Boario in Rome
October 26th, 2020
After the success of La terra dell'abbastanza and Favolacce, D'Innocenzo brothers have chosen fashion as a new step in their career behind the camera. Shot inside the Palazzo Sacchetti and in the Campo Boario area in Rome, Gucci Epilogue marks the last chapter of a journey that began with An Unrepeatable Ritual and continued with The Ritual campaign.
The commercial contains the Roman imagery typical of the two directors, here sublimated not only by the setting chosen for the spot but also by Alessandro Michele himself, who has always been close to the places and atmospheres of his Rome. However, the brand's clothes remain the absolute protagonists, suspended in a dimension that combines myth and reality.
It is not the first time that the two Roman directors have worked with Gucci. Already in 2019, they had published a book of photographs created thanks to the contribution of the brand, while over the years they have become the faces of the brand led by Alessandro Michele.
