Sneakers Hub: the new event dedicated to the streetwear world of Naples
At the ex-NATO base in Naples, from Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 September
September 10th, 2020
As the world we live in expands more and more thanks to new digital media, the fashion community begins to expand outside its classic Italian capitals, Milan and Rome, and to extend, mixing itself with the local street culture, in the rest of the main metropolises of our country. Of course, thanks to its vibrant music and fashion scene, Naples is destined to become the next city to enter into that vast dialogue of different realities that is Italian fashion. A significant step towards this evolution comes from the first edition of Sneakers Hub, an event entirely dedicated to hype culture that will take place in the former NATO base in Naples from 19 to 20 September, after an inaugural opening party to be held on Friday 18 September.
In the main forecourt of the former NATO base will be organized marketplaces dedicated to exhibitors who will be able to sell their products and show their collections, contests and raffles as well as a series of workshops held by Jacopo De Carli, Alberto Panocchi and Joelle Pomioli of APJP and panels of music producers, local designers and creatives including one with Marco Evangelisti, of Backdoor Bottega and one of Jordan's leading experts in Italy. Completing this all-round immersion in the streetwear world will also be an area dedicated to sports, with a skate track for live performances and a basketball court for 3x3 tournaments as well as testing new products.
When: September 19-20
Where: Ex-NATO Base, Viale della Liberazione, Naples
