Trail aesthetics and elevated basics in the new Avnier collection
The Parisian brand unveils the capsule inspired by the Earth's evolution

After the collaboration with Salomon presented a few weeks ago, Avnier unveils now the FW20 collection.
The Parisian streetwear label, founded in 2014 by singer and director Orelsan and fashion designer Sébastian Strappazon, provides amplified basics, designed for practicality and comfort.
Referring to the trail and hiking aesthetic, this season the collection drew inspiration from Earth and its evolution. Looking first to the concept of ‘proto-earth’, the planet at early stages of development, t-shirts are emblazoned with monochrome prints reminiscent of the big bang and early solar flares and rock formations. Avnier tabbing and logo is prevalent throughout, binding the clothing to the present.
We see this collection as a prequel to what’s to come, both literally and figuratively, explains Orelsan. It represents Avnier’s upcoming mutation as well as the planet’s evolution through its various phases.
As part of the collection, we find moreover track jackets made of a ripstop exterior with sherpa fleece collar features neutral browns and azure blues in geometric shapes, jumpers, track tops and Sherpa-lined trucker caps.
Here, we revisit our classics in colours which evolve from dark to organic hues, finally becoming vivid, saturated, pushing the brand to revolve to its inception, after a full circle rotation, added Sébastian.
