August 24th, 2020
After the one in May, the first of the collaborative LV² collection co-signed by Virgil Abloh and Nigo, it has now been officially announced the next release of the new range of garments and accessories of the collaboration between the creative director of Louis Vuitton and the legendary founder of A BATHING APE.
The second drop of the LV² collection will focus on pieces and accessories designed for the upcoming winter season, with proposals focused on outerwear and sartorial solutions.
The redefinition of the boundaries between the streetwear category and the codes of the heritage French brand is the stated goal of this extensive collaboration – symbolized by the famous drip effect created by Nigo for his Icecream brand that joins the LV Damier Check pattern on many of the leather goods in the collection. Among the many interesting pieces in the collection, the outerwear stands out: an N-2B bomber jacket with a fur hood with a graphic on the back, a beige aviation jacket with the LV logo embroidered on the chest as well as suede parkas and short Montgomery jackets.
Among other novelties, beyond tailored suits and accessories with a ready-to-wear taste, there are also a pair of black hiking boots, decorated with Damier check and red laces and a pair of lace-up wallabees covered by the classic Louis Vuitton pattern. Accessories also abound among sunglasses, rings and bracelets, as well as checkered wool scarves and ties – as well as animal-shaped chains and decorations for leather goods.
